April Burroughs

April Burroughs is an instructor at Elite Leadership Martial Arts and a strong believer in helping students grow in confidence, discipline, and resilience both on and off the mat.

As a mother of four, April understands the importance of creating a positive and encouraging environment where children feel supported while developing important life skills through martial arts training.

Outside of ELMA, April works full-time and is a Certified Personal Trainer and CanFitPro Healthy Eating & Weight Loss Coach. Her passion for health, wellness, and personal growth helps bring a balanced and supportive approach to students and families within the school.

April is also an active Toastmaster who values continuous learning, communication, and personal development. While she prefers supporting others behind the scenes rather than being in the spotlight, she plays an important role in helping create the welcoming and family-focused culture at ELMA.
